Conocimientos y actitudes preventivas sobre el COVID19 en adolescentes de la jurisdicción de las IPRESS 6 de Octubre y Los Delfines, Iquitos 2023

Abstract

Introducción: El COVID 19 colapsó nuestro sistema de salud, afectando a toda la población, un grupo vulnerable fueron los adolescentes no solo a nivel socioeconómico, educativo, sino en su salud mental, con una baja cobertura vacunal. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud preventiva sobre el COVID19 en adolescentes de la jurisdicción de las IPRESS 6 de Octubre y Los Delfines, de la ciudad de Iquitos 2023. Metodología: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo, correlacional, entrevistando a 142 adolescentes de la jurisdicción de las IPRESS 6 de Octubre y Los Delfines, aplicando un cuestionario validado para determinar el nivel de conocimiento y su actitud preventiva sobre el COVID 19. Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento de los adolescentes sobre COVID19 fue adecuado en más del 50% y malo en el 40%. Los adolescentes presentaron una actitud preventiva adecuada en más del 35% y no adecuada en más del 60%. El nivel bueno de conocimiento se asoció significativamente con la edad de 16 a 19 años, con el sexofemenino, un mejor nivel educativo, al tener un familiar con COVID 19 y haber presentado COVID 19. Results: The level of knowledge of adolescents about COVID 19 was adequate in more than 50% and poor in 40%. Adolescents presented an adequate preventive attitude in more than 35% and inadequate in more than 60%. The good level of knowledge was significantly associated with the age of 16 to 19 years, with the female sex, a better educational level, having a family member with COVID 19 and having presented COVID 19.
