Abstract
The intention of this project was to evaluate the content of acid ascórbico in the pulp of Camu camu by means of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The samples were obtained in Germoplasm Bank of Institute of Researches of the Peruvian Amazon (IIAP), which come from San Miguel, Nina Rumi, boiled Morona, Requena, Lake Avispa, Molano, Tinta, Cedro and Santa Rosa in the area of Loreto – Peru. The experimental analysis was realized in the Laboratory of Natural Substances and Bioactive of the IIAP by 3 repetitions by sample. The results demonstrate that the plant with code N º 48 contains the highest content of acid ascórbico, with values of 1938 mg/100 g of pulp followed by the plants 37, 35 and 32 with values of 1719, 1701 and 1639 mg/100 g of pulp respectively. The study confirmed the high content of acid ascorbic for the species.
