Abstract
En esta investigación se realizó el análisis cualitativo de la textura de los suelos del Arboretum “El Huayo” del CIEFOR Puerto Almendra, área de bosque natural de 20 ha ubicado en el distrito de San Juan Bautista Loreto. El muestreo abarcó las 16 parcelas instaladas en el Arboretum y se tomaron muestras en cada parcela a 0-20 cm, a 20-40 cm y a 40-60 cm de profundidad, cada muestra separada 100 m con respecto a la otra. Las muestras colectadas en el campo se llevaron al laboratorio donde fueron secadas, molidas, tamizadas, pesadas, agregado el reactivo y licuadas; luego fueron medidas con el hidrómetro y el termómetro. Los resultados del análisis muestran que el 67,24 % de los suelos es franco arcillo arenoso, el 18,96% es arcillo arenoso, el 8,62% es franco arenoso y el 5,17% es arcilloso, con predominancia de arcilla y arena y bajo porcentaje de limo.
This research deals with the qualitative analysis of the texture of the soils of the Arboretum "El Huayo", a natural forest area of 20 ha located in the CIEFOR Puerto Almendra, San Juan Bautista, Loreto. All the 16 plots installed in the arboretum were sampled, and samples were taken at 0-20 cm, 20-40 cm and 40-60 cm depth, each sample separated 100 m one another. Samples collected in the field, were taken to the laboratory and then dried, crushed, sieved, weighed, added reagent and blended. Then, the samples were measured with the hydrometer and thermometer. The results of the analysis show that 67,24% of the soil is sandy clay loam, 18,96% is sandy clay, 8,62% is sandy loam and 5, 17% is clay, with predominance of clay and sand and low percentage of silt.
