Abstract
El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación existente entre el
conocimiento y la actitud frente a la violencia de género de los prestadores de
salud Iquitos 2015. El método empleado fue el cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo,
transversal, prospectivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 256 prestadores de
salud que laboran en 02 Hospitales y 05 Centros de Salud de Micro Redes de
Iquitos, obtenida mediante la fórmula de proporciones para poblaciones finitas.
Se utilizó un instrumento que contenía el cuestionario de conocimientos sobre
violencia de género de Siendonés y la escala de actitudes en violencia de contra
la mujer de Chuquimajo (confiabilidad de 0.91 y 0.81 respectivamente). Los
datos fueron analizados en el programa estadístico SSPS versión 21.0. Los
resultados mostraron que la edad promedio fue 38,1 +9,0 años, 43,0% son
casados, 39,8% tiene entre 1 a 5 años de tiempo laboral. El 39,8% de los
prestadores mostro un nivel alto de conocimiento sobre violencia de género, el
83,6% tiene una actitud neutra frente a la violencia de género, el 11.7% actitud
desfavorable y solo el 4.7% tiene una actitud favorable. Se obersvó relacion
estadística significativa entre categoría profesional y nivel de conocimiento
(p=0,000) ; área de trabajo y nivel de conocimiento (p=0,003) ; no existe
relación estadística significativa entre las variables demográficas-laborales con
la actitud. Se encontró que existe relación estadística significativa entre el
conocimiento y la actitud (p=0,012).
The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude towards gender violence of health providers Iquitos 2015. The method used was quantitative, descriptive, transversal and prospective design. The sample consisted of 256 health providers who work in 02 Hospitals and 05 Micro Network Health Centers of Iquitos, obtained through the proportions formula for finite populations. An instrument containing the knowledge questionnaire on gender violence of Siendonés and the scale of attitudes in violence against women of Chuquimajo (reliability of 0.91 and 0.81 respectively) was used. The data were analyzed in the statistical program SSPS version 21.0. The results showed that the average age was 38.1 +9.0 years, 43.0% were married, 39.8% had between 1 and 5 years of working time. 39.8% of the providers showed a high level of knowledge about gender violence, 83.6% had a neutral attitude towards gender violence, 11.7% had an unfavorable attitude and only 4.7% had a favorable attitude. There was a significant statistical relationship between professional category and level of knowledge (p = 0.000); Area of work and level of knowledge (p = 0.003); There is no statistically significant relationship between demographic-labor variables and attitude.
