Abstract
El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la asociación entre los factores familiares y el autoconcepto, en los adolescentes residentes en el AA. HH. Porvenir, Iquitos 2017. En la metodología se ha empleado el método cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional, transversal y descriptivo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 80 adolescentes de la población. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: la Escala de Factores Familiares y la Escala de Autoconcepto Forma 5 (AF5). El programa estadístico fue el SPSS, versión 22 para Windows XP, nivel de confianza de 95% y de significancia de 0,05 (p<0,05). Los resultados obtenidos respecto a los factores familiares identificados en los adolescentes, fueron : 62,5% (50) de adolescentes tuvieron padres democráticos; 73,7% (59) presentaron alta funcionalidad familiar; y 76,3% (61) refirieron ausencia de violencia familiar. En cuanto al autoconcepto de los adolescentes residentes se presenta de la siguiente manera: el 67,5% (54) calificaron con autoconcepto medio, 26,3% (21) autoconcepto alto y 6,2% calificaron autoconcepto bajo. Para establecer la asociación entre los factores familiares y el autoconcepto en los adolescentes, se aplicó la prueba estadística no paramétrica de Chi-cuadrado de Pearson (X2), obteniendo, asociación estadística significativa entre: estilos/modelos parentales y autoconcepto (p = 0,030, p < 0,05), clima familiar y autoconcepto (p=0,000, p < 0,05), violencia familiar y autoconcepto (p = 0,001, p < 0,05).
