Motivación intrínseca y nivel de aprendizaje en inglés en estudiantes de la especialidad de idiomas extranjeros, Facultad de Educación - UNAP - 2014

Abstract

En la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana, específicamente en la especialidad de Idiomas Extranjeros, se desarrollan procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje del inglés con diversos resultados y situaciones inherentes al proceso. El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo general, establecer la relación existente entre la motivación intrínseca y el nivel de aprendizaje en inglés en estudiantes de la especialidad de Idiomas Extranjeros durante el año 2014. El estudio es cuantitativo, no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población y la muestra del estudio estuvo conformada por estudiantes de los diferentes niveles de la especialidad y fueron 96, seleccionados a través del muestreo por conveniencia. Analizados los datos, se tiene que al aplicar el coeficiente para variables ordinales cuyo valor fue de 0,497 p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), se observa relación estadísticamente significativa entre el deseo de aprender y el nivel de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de idiomas extranjeros, y al usar el coeficiente para variables ordinales de Kendall cuyo valor fue de 0,305 p = 0,007 (p < 0,05), se observa relación estadísticamente significativa entre la actitud de aprender y el nivel de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de idiomas extranjeros y al utilizar el coeficiente de chi-cuadrado cuyo valor fue de X2= 26,632; p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), se observa relación estadísticamente significativa entre los sentimientos sobre ciertos aspectos y el nivel de aprendizaje en inglés en los estudiantes de Idiomas Extranjeros de la Facultad de Educación de la UNAP. Lo que demuestra la hipótesis planteada: “Existe relación significativa entre la motivación intrínseca y el nivel de aprendizaje en inglés en estudiantes de la especialidad de Idiomas Extranjeros, Facultad de Educación-UNAP-Iquitos-2014”.

Analysed the data, it must be to apply the coefficient for ordinal variables whose value was 0.497 p = 0.000 (p <0.05), statistically significant relationship between the desire to learn and the learning level of foreign language students, and using the Kendall coefficient for ordinal variables whose value was 0.305 p = 0.007 (p <0.05), statistically significant relationship between the attitude of learning and the level of student learning foreign languages is observed and by using the ratio chi-square whose value was X2 = 26.632; p = 0.000 (p <0.05), statistically significant relationship between feelings regarding certain aspects and the level of learning English is seen in foreign language students of the Faculty of Education at the UNAP. Proving the hypothesis: "There is a significant relationship between intrinsic motivation and the level of students learning English in Foreign Languages specialty, Faculty of Education-UNAP-IQUITOS-2014"
