Propuesta de un sistema de gestión ambiental en el aserradero del centro de investigación y enseñanza forestal (CIEFOR) - Puerto Almendra, Iquitos

Abstract

El estudio se realizó en el aserradero del Centro de Investigación y Enseñanza Forestal (CIEFOR) – Puerto Almendra; geográficamente se encuentra en las coordenadas 3° 49’ 40’’ latitud sur y 73° 22’ 30” longitud oeste, a una altitud aproximada de 122 msnm. El CIEFOR – Puerto Almendra se enmarca dentro del Distrito de San Juan Bautista, Provincia de Maynas, Región Loreto, Perú. El CIEFOR – Puerto Almendra tiene aproximadamente una superficie de 2000 ha, pertenece a la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana, refrendada por resolución ministerial Nº 2190 del 20 de diciembre de 1966; parte de ella es utilizada por la Facultad de Agronomía (800 ha aproximadamente) y la diferencia por la Facultad de Ciencias Forestales. Elaborar una propuesta de Sistema de Gestión Ambiental según la norma ISO 14001:2004 en el aserradero del Centro de Investigación y Enseñanza Forestal (CIEFOR) – Puerto Almendra. Loreto – Perú, mediante el diagnostico situacional actual. De acuerdo al estudio realizado el Centro de Investigación y Enseñanza Forestal – CIEFOR, no cuenta con un sistema de gestión ambiental según la Norma ISO 14001: 2004. Los aspectos ambientales se tornan significativos en cuanto a la valoración cualitativa planteada, pero que a su vez se torna de esa forma por la falta de control y manejo, por la carencia de un sistema de gestión ambiental, que pueda generar orden en la producción en cuanto a materia ambiental. El aspecto de cumplimiento legal no se toma en cuenta en la evaluación de aspectos ambientales significativos, con la presentación de los requisitos legales a seguir como recomendación en la propuesta de un sistema de gestión ambiental según la Norma ISO 14001: 2004. Los requisitos legales recomendados y aplicables en el aserradero CIEFOR, van acorde al entorno en el que se realizan los procesos de producción realizados en el establecimiento. La política ambiental apunta a la mejora continua de los procesos y desarrollo del establecimiento como centro de Investigación y Enseñanza, todo englobado para trabajar en armonía con el ambiente.

The aspect of legal compliance is not taken into account in the evaluation of significant environmental aspects, with the presentation of legal requirements to be followed as a recommendation in the proposal of an environmental management system according to ISO 14001: 2004. The legal requirements recommended and applicable in the CIEFOR sawmill, according to the environment in which the production processes carried out in the establishment are carried out. The environmental policy aims at the continuous improvement of the processes and development of the establishment as a center of Research and Education, all encompassed to work in harmony with the environment.
