Aplicación móvil para acceder a las publicaciones científicas del portal web del Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonía Peruana, Iquitos 2016

Abstract

Se plantea implementar una aplicación móvil para mejorar la eficiencia en el acceso a las publicaciones científicas (libros, documentos técnicos y la Revista Folia Amazónica) del Instituto de Investigaciones de la amazonia Peruana (IIAP) publicadas en su Web Institucional [1]. El trabajo comprendió en primer término el desarrollo de un aplicativo móvil para smartphones, con funcionalidades para acceder a los contenidos, que necesita difundir el IIAP. Seguidamente se realizaron pruebas de validación orientadas a medir la eficiencia de acceso a los contenidos, para lo cual se trabajó con los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana - UNAP. Como parte final para determinar que existe una mejora estadísticamente significativa, se realizó el procesamiento de datos usando pruebas estadísticas paramétricas, coeficiente de correlación de Pearson y Distribución t de Student (prueba ―t‖), junto a la sistematización, análisis y elaboración de conclusiones. El desarrollo de la aplicación móvil comprendió, el análisis, desarrollo, implementación y pruebas de acuerdo al ciclo de vida de la metodología XP, realizándose un total de 3 iteraciones con 8 historias de usuarios. Para el levantamiento de información (realización de las pruebas) se desarrollaron cuestionarios (de pre test y post test) con los indicadores descritos en la operacionalización de variables, se busca medir la eficiencia en el acceso de información científica en la Web del IIAP y la aplicación móvil, en una muestra de 50 alumnos matriculados en la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas de la UNAP en el I semestre de 2016. Los resultados favorecieron la hipótesis, por lo cual se concluye que la implementación y uso de una aplicación móvil mejora la eficiencia en el acceso a las publicaciones científicas del IIAP.

This work proposes to implement a mobile application to improve efficiency in access to scientific publications (books, technical documents and Folia Amazonica journal) produced by Institute of Research of Peruvian Amazon (IIAP) published in its institutional web portal [1]. The work included in the first place the development of a mobile application for smartphones, with functionalities to access the contents, wich the IIAP need to spread.
