Evaluación de la prescripción de medicamentos en pacientes asegurados que acuden a la Clínica Selva Amazónica Iquitos - 2017

Abstract

Titulo: Evaluación de la Prescripción de Medicamentos en pacientes asegurados que acuden a la Clínica Selva Amazónica Iquitos - 2017. Objetivos: Evaluar la prescripción de los medicamentos en pacientes asegurados que acuden a la Clínica Selva Amazónica de Iquitos. Material y métodos: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, transversal y cuantitativo. Se recolectó aleatoriamente información de 456 recetas de pacientes ambulatorios atendidos la Clínica Selva Amazónica entre los meses de julio, agosto, setiembre y octubre del año 2017, evaluándose el cumplimiento de las Buenas Practicas de Prescripción (BPP). Resultados: De 456 de recetas evaluadas, el 94% se encontraron incorrectamente llenadas. Respecto a los datos del pacientes se encontró que un 87,06% cumple de manera satisfactoria, en cuanto a los datos del medicamento se obtuvo que un 60,53 % omitió por lo menos un ítems, siendo los más resaltante vía de administración con un 76,97%, la frecuencia de administración con un 76.75% y la duración del tratamiento con 74,78%. En legibilidad se obtuvo que el 75.66% y en el llenado de datos por el prescriptor se obtuvo que un 96,27% lo hizo de manera correcta fue legible para el paciente. Conclusiones: En el presente trabajo se concluyó que el porcentaje de recetas incompletas continúa siendo elevado (94%); respecto a los Datos del Paciente se cumplió con un 80,06% del buen llenado, con respecto a las deficiencias en el buen llenado de prescripción relacionadas a los Datos del Medicamento (Denominación común internacional) tenemos que un 27% que omiten este dato de las recetas atendidas, También se encontró un mayor resultado positivo en la buena calidad de prescripción en Datos del Prescriptor, ya que, en la prescripción de las recetas médicas, se cumple con más del 95%. Este estudio servirá para generar alerta con respecto a la calidad de las recetas, abriendo paso a nuevas investigaciones sobre el tema.
