El turismo como factor de integración en la ciudad de Yurimaguas 2018

Abstract

El propósito de la investigación es determinar si el turismo es un componente de integración para la ciudad de Yurimaguas, lo cual conlleva identificar si el turismo representa un factor de desarrollo en relación al espacio geográfico que ocupa, su ubicación y el desempeño administrativo de los sectores competentes. La investigación es aplicada y cuantitativa con un diseño transversal y de tipo descriptivo. El instrumento lo constituye el cuestionario y la encuesta se aplicó a una muestra de 20 representantes de las organizaciones estatales como privadas. Los resultados de la investigación señalan que Yurimaguas se ubica estratégicamente; igualmente, se observa la falta de uso de nuevas tendencias para optimizar los atractivos; también en el aspecto de correlación entre la ciudad y las comunidades rurales se establece que es mínimo; del mismo modo, se observa que la oferta turística no se integra; no se reconoce aporte del turismo para generar nuevas actividades; finalmente, se concluye que el turismo es un factor determinante para el desarrollo de la ciudad de Yurimaguas, sin embargo, no llega a configurarse como el elemento de integración alrededor del cual se podrían impulsar las demás actividades económicas y sociales de la zona. Es recomendable formular estrategias que conlleven a dar ese matiz integrador al turismo por el potencial, la ubicación y los atractivos que se posee.The purpose of the research is to determine if tourism is an integration component for the city of Yurimaguas, which entails identifying whether tourism represents a development factor in relation to the geographical space it occupies, its location and the administrative performance of the sectors competent. The research is applied and quantitative with a transversal and descriptive design. The instrument is the questionnaire and the survey were applied to a sample of 20 representatives of state and private organizations. The results of the investigation indicate that Yurimaguas is strategically located; likewise, we observe the lack of use of new trends to optimize attractiveness; also in the aspect of correlation between the city and rural communities it is established that it is minimal; In the same way, it is observed that the tourist offer is not integrated; tourism contribution is not recognized to generate new activities; finally, it is concluded that tourism is a determining factor for the development of the city of Yurimaguas, however, it does not come to be configured as the element of integration around which other economic and social activities in the area could be promoted. It is advisable to formulate strategies that entail to give that integrating nuance to the tourism by the potential, the location and the attractiveness that is possessed.
