Aplicativo móvil con sistema biométrico de huella digital para la mejora del control de asistencia del personal docente de la Institución Educativa San Antonio de Padua de Iquitos - 2018

Abstract

El presente proyecto se realizó en la Institución Educativa San Antonio de Padua en la ciudad de Iquitos en la región Loreto dentro del sistema educativo del Perú durante el periodo Agosto - Noviembre 2018, se analizó la problemática del proceso manual del control de asistencia y se optó por el desarrollo de un aplicativo móvil con el uso de tecnología biométrica mediante el sensor del dispositivo celular. La metodología de investigación se caracteriza por ser de tipo descriptiva y el diseño de investigación se ubica en el diseño no experimental, con pre y post prueba en grupos intactos porque no son asignados al azar, ni emparejados. Para determinar si existe una mejora estadísticamente significativa, se realizó la captura de datos antes y después de la implantación del aplicativo móvil, para luego realizar el procesamiento y análisis de datos, y usar la distribución Z. Al culminar del presente proyecto se obtuvo resultados favorables al hacer uso del aplicativo móvil, teniendo reducciones de tiempo en los procesos de Generación de Reportes de Control de Asistencia que antes del uso del sistema se demoraban en promedio 39 minutos con 6 segundos, y ahora con el uso del sistema toma en promedio 4 minutos; y en el proceso de Control de Asistencia de Docentes antes del uso del aplicativo el porcentaje de inasistencia era en promedio el 6% y con el uso del aplicativo se redujo la inasistencia a 0%.

This project was carried out at the San Antonio de Padua Educational Institution in the city of Iquitos in the Loreto region within the Peruvian educational system during the period August - November 2018, the problem of the manual process of attendance control was analyzed and it was chosen for the development of a mobile application with the use of biometric technology through the sensor of the cellular device. The research methodology is characterized by being descriptive and the research design is located in the non-experimental design, with pre and post test in intact groups because they are not randomly assigned or paired. To determine if there is a statistically significant improvement, data was captured before and after the implementation of the mobile application, to then perform the data processing and analysis, and use the Z distribution. At the end of this project, favorable results were obtained. When using the mobile application, having time reductions in the Attendance Control Report Generation processes that before using the system took an average of 39 minutes and 6 seconds, and now with the use of the system it takes an average of 4 minutes; and in the Teacher Attendance Control process before using the application, the percentage of absence was on average 6% and with the use of the application, non-attendance was reduced to 0%.
