dc.description.abstract | La bronquiectasia tiene una clara mortalidad atribuible, el impacto de esta enfermedad en el sistema de salud es sustancial. Por ello el presente trabajo tiene por finalidad determinar las características clínico-laboratoriales y epidemiológicas en pacientes con bronquiectasia atendidos en el Hospital Regional Loreto, 2019. Concluyendo que la mayoría de pacientes presentaron una edad ≥ 60 años (46.9 %), hubo predominio del sexo femenino (59.2 %), el 16.3 % presentaron antecedentes de tabaquismo, el 10.2 % antecedentes de obstrucción bronquial, el 24.5 % antecedentes de infección bacteriana, el 10.2 % antecedentes de infección viral, el 28.6 % antecedentes de tuberculosis pulmonar, el 10.2 % antecedentes de bronquiectasia, el 30.6 % antecedentes de hipertensión arterial, el 26.5 % antecedentes de diabetes mellitus, el 14.3 % antecedentes de enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica, el 4.1 % antecedentes de enfermedad cerebro vascular, el 2 % antecedentes de asma y el 10.2 % antecedentes de enfermedad autoinmune. En cuanto a las características clínicas se observaron síntomas como disnea (79.6 %), tos (61.2 %), dolor torácico (51 %) y hemoptisis (30.6 %). Respecto a las características de laboratorio el 65.3 % de los pacientes presentaron una cantidad normal de leucocitos, el 71.4 % presentaron neutrofilia, el 59.0 % presentaron una cantidad normal de linfocitos en sangre, el 73.5 % presentaron anemia, todos los pacientes presentaron una cantidad normal de eosinófilos, el 75.5 % presentaron una cantidad normal de plaquetas en sangre y los pacientes con bronquiectasia presentaron una media de índice neutrófilo/linfocito de 4.19. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | Bronchiectasis has a clear attributable mortality, the impact of this disease on the health system is substantial. Therefore, the present work aims to determine the clinical-laboratory and epidemiological characteristics in patients with bronchiectasis treated at the Loreto Regional Hospital, 2019. Concluding that the majority of patients were ≥ 60 years old (46.9%), there was a predominance of sex female (59.2%), 16.3% had a history of smoking, 10.2% a history of bronchial obstruction, 24.5% a history of bacterial infection, 10.2% a history of viral infection, 28.6% a history of pulmonary tuberculosis, 10.2% a history of bronchiectasis, 30.6% history of arterial hypertension, 26.5% history of diabetes mellitus, 14.3% history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 4.1% history of cerebrovascular disease, 2 % history of asthma and 10.2% history of autoimmune disease. Regarding the clinical characteristics, symptoms such as dyspnea (79.6%), cough (61.2%), chest pain (51%) and hemoptysis (30.6%) were observed. Regarding the laboratory characteristics, 65.3% of the patients had a normal amount of leukocytes, 71.4% had neutrophilia, 59.0% had a normal amount of lymphocytes in the blood, 73.5% had anemia, all patients had a normal amount of eosinophils, 75.5% had a normal amount of platelets in the blood and patients with bronchiectasis had a mean neutrophil / lymphocyte index of 4.19. | en_US |
