Abstract
La presente investigación se desarrolló en el contexto académico de la Facultad de Ingeniería
de Sistemas e Informática de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana, donde semestre
a semestre se evidenciaron dificultades para la elaboración de los horarios de las asignaturas a
cargo de los docentes y su asignación de aulas y laboratorios, tal es así que el objetivo de la
presente investigación fue determinar si un sistema experto en asignación de aulas y
laboratorios mejorará la gestión de horarios en la Facultad de Ingeniería de Sistemas e
Informática de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonia Peruana. La metodología empleada se
constituyó de diferentes pasos, que van desde la instalación y configuración del sistema hasta
la medición de los indicadores aplicados al proceso de generación de horario de los docentes
con carga lectiva. Para la muestra de la investigación se tuvo que considerar al total de la
población de docentes de la facultad, cuyo número asciende a 22 docentes, entre contratados y
nombrados de las diferentes categorías y dedicaciones. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el
cuestionario y la ficha de observación. Con los resultados obtenidos se pudo determinar que
efectivamente, el sistema implementado para la asignación de aulas y laboratorios mejoró
considerablemente la gestión de horarios en la Facultad de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informática
de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonia Peruana, validando de esta manera la hipótesis
propuesta.
This research was developed in the academic context of the Faculty of Systems Engineering and Informatics of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, where semester by semester difficulties were evidenced in the elaboration of the schedules of the subjects in charge of the teachers and their allocation of classrooms and laboratories, so much so that the objective of this research was to determine if an expert system in assigning classrooms and laboratories will improve the management of schedules in the Faculty of Systems Engineering and Informatics of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon . The methodology used consisted of different steps, ranging from the installation and configuration of the system to the measurement of the indicators applied to the process of generating time for teachers with a teaching load. For the research sample, the total population of faculty teachers had to be considered, whose number amounts to 22 teachers, between hired and appointed from the different categories and dedications. The instruments used were the questionnaire and the observation sheet. With the results obtained, it was possible to determine that indeed, the system implemented for the allocation of classrooms and laboratories considerably improved the management of schedules in the Faculty of Systems Engineering and Informatics of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, thus validating the hypothesis proposal.
