Percepción social sobre el manejo de los residuos sólidos domiciliarios en zona urbana de Villa Punchana, Maynas 2022

Abstract

The objective of this work was to describe the social perception about the handling and management of solid waste in the inhabitants of the urban area of Villa Punchana in the year 2022. Due to its approach, it was quantitative, prospective, simple descriptive and non-experimental design. The target population was 7,168 residents, with housing in the area. The sample was also constituted by 83 inhabitants calculated at a confidence level of 90% and p of 0.50, inclusion and exclusion criteria were taken into account, the technique was the survey and the instrument applied was a questionnaire of eighteen questions the same as what happened the validity tests (binomial test) and reliability (Kudder Richardson). The data were analyzed taking into account the objectives and the hypothesis and processed and tabulated through the statistical package SPSS version 23. The results regarding environmental contamination indicated that There are diverse opinions on the part of these residents, indicating mostly that the changes in the environment where they live are not the product of local activity, that these changes are due to air pollution and poor management of solid waste and that they are aware that there is a progressive degradation and pollution of the environment in general. The social perception about the management of household solid waste was regular with 54.2%, in contrast to 12% it was bad and 33.7% good. The social perception regarding the municipal management of solid waste was that 68.7% stated that it is bad, in contrast, 31.3% said that it is good The general social perception on the handling and management of household solid waste in the urban zone of villa Punchana is regular in 54.2%, 26.5% is bad and 19.3% is good.

El objetivo del presente trabajo fue describir la percepción social sobre el manejo y gestión los residuos sólidos en los pobladores de la zona urbana de villa Punchana en el año 2022. Por su enfoque, fue cuantitativa, prospectiva, descriptivo simple y de diseño no experimental. La población objetivo fue 7,168 pobladores, con vivienda en el lugar. La muestra igualmente estuvo constituida por 83 pobladores calculada a un nivel de confianza del 90% y p de 0.50, se tuvo en cuenta criterios de inclusión y exclusión, la técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento aplicado fue un cuestionario de dieciséis preguntas el mismo que paso las pruebas de validez (prueba binomial) y confiabilidad (Kudder Richardson). Los datos fueron analizados teniendo en cuenta los objetivos y la hipótesis y procesada y tabulada a través del paquete estadístico SPSS versión 23. Los resultados en cuanto a la contaminación ambiental indicaron que existen opiniones diversas por parte de dichos pobladores indicando mayoritariamente que los cambios en el ambiente donde viven no son producto de la actividad local, que dichos cambios son por contaminación del aire y por un mal manejo de los residuos sólidos y que son conscientes que hay una progresiva degradación y contaminación del ambiente en general. La percepción social sobre el manejo de residuos sólidos domiciliarios fue regular con un 54.2%, en contraste con el 12% fue mala y el 33.7% buena. La percepción social en cuanto a la gestión municipal de los residuos sólidos fue que el 68,7% manifestaron que es mala, en contraste el 31.3 % dijeron que es buena La percepción social general sobre el manejo y gestión de los residuos sólidos domiciliarios en la zona urbana de villa Punchana es regular en un 54.2%, un 26.5 % es mala y en un 19.3% es buena.
