Nivel de conocimiento y actitud frente a traumatismos dentales en niños del personal del INABIF, Iquitos- 2012

Abstract

El presente estudio, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el Nivel de conocimiento y actitud frente a Traumatismos dentales en niños, del Personal del INABIF, Iquitos - 2012. El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativa; el diseño fue descriptivo, correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 40 trabajadores de ambos sexos del INABIF, Iquitos. Los instrumentos utilizados para identificar el nivel de conocimiento y actitud del personal del lNABIF fueron cuestionarios, los cuales fueron validados por juicios de expertos. Entre los hallazgos más importantes se encontró lo siguiente: El Conocimiento de los trabajadores sobre traumatismos dentales en niños fue Regular con un 72,5% (29). En relación a la Actitud del personal del INABIF sobre traumatismos dentales fue 80% (32) con una Actitud Favorable. Existe evidencias estadísticas suficientes entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud frente a Traumatismos dentales en niños del Personal de INABIF, Iquitos - 2012 (Chi cuadrado=6,14, p = 0,013); es decir se acepta la Hipótesis planteada que existe relación entre estas dos variables.

The present study had as objective to determine the relationship between the Level of knowledge and attitude in front of dental Traumatisms in children, of the Personnel of the INABIF, Iquitos-2012. The investigation type was quantitative; the design was descriptive, correlational. The sample was conformed by 40 workers of both sexes of the INABIF, Iquitos. The utilized instrument to identify the level of knowledge and attitude of the personnel of the INABIF was a questionnaire, which both were validated by experts' trials. Among the most important discoveries he/she was the following: The Knowledge ofthe workers about dental traumatisms in children was to Regulate with 72,5% (29). In relation to the Attitude of the personnel of the INABIF it has than enough dental traumatisms it was of80% it lives (32) with to Favorable Attitude. It exists enough statistical evidences between the level of knowledge and attitude in front dental of Traumatisms in children of the Personnel of INABIF, Iquitos-2012 (square Chi=6, 14, p = 0,013); that i to say the outlined Hypothesis i accepted that relationship exists among these variable two.
