Diseño e implementación del sistema de intranet de electro oriente S.A.

Abstract

El "Sistema de Intranet de Electro Oriente S.A." es un sistema informático desarrollado que estará a disposición de los empleados de la empresa para que estos puedan acceder de forma eficaz a la información que requieren para poder realizar sus tomas de decisiones; así como también utilizar los servicios que este brinda para poder desempeñar sus labores asignadas de manera eficiente y eficaz. Actualmente la empresa cuenta con un sistema de Intranet, el cual fue desarrollado hace más de 5 años atrás, esto conlleva que la tecnología usada en aquel entonces para el desarrollo de la intranet ya está casi desfasada u obsoleta. Otro problema que tiene la Intranet actual es que no cuentan algunos servicios que la empresa necesita en estos momentos para apoyo a las actividades que se realizan. El objetivo principal del presente proyecto es el desarrollar un Sistema Informático el cual pueda brindar las herramientas necesarias al personal de la institución, para que éste desarrolle de forma más eficiente y eficaz las labores que se les asignaron. Permitiendo así que la fluidez con que se desarrolla el negocio de la empresa, las comunicaciones y el intercambio de información sea rápida, confiable, segura y sobre todo oportuna para poder brindar servicio al público con niveles de calidad altos. La metodología que se eligió para el desarrollo del Sistema Informático fue el RUP (Rational Unified Process), el cual es un proceso de desarrollo de ingeniería de software que se adapta especialmente bien a UML que es un lenguaje estándar para la visualización, especificación, construcción y documentación de artefactos de un sistema, constituyendo la metodología estándar más utilizada para el análisis, implementación y documentación de sistemas orientados a objetos. Como resultados obtendremos los siguientes: el diseño de la estructura del Sistema de Intranet y su funcionamiento, el diseño de la base de datos que estará como base para dar soporte al almacenamiento de los datos, los procedimientos almacenados, entre otros. También será material entregable el código fuente del sistema así como el aplicativo mismo ya implementado en la empresa Electro Oriente S.A. Por último tenemos también los manuales de usuario y manuales técnicos del mismo.

The main objective of this Project is to develop a computer system which can provide the tools needed to staff the institution to develop it more efficiently and effectively the tasks assigned to them. Allowing the fluid that develops enterprise business, communications and information Exchange are fast, reliable, secure and timely especially in order to provide service to the public with high quality standards. The methodology chosen for the development of Information System was the RUP (Rational Unified Process), which is a process of development of software engineering that is particularly well suited to UML is a standard language for visualizing, specifying, construction and documentation of artifacts of a system, being the most widely used standard methodology for the analysis, implementation and documentation of object-oriented systems. As a result we get the following: the design of the structure of the Intranet system and its operation, the design of the database will be the basis to support the storage of data, stored procedures, among others. It will also be deliverable material system source code and the application itself and implemented in the Electro Oriente S.A. Finally, we also have user manuals and technical manuals of the same.
