Efecto de charlas educativas en el nivel de conocimientos sobre salud bucal en pacientes atendidos en los establecimientos de salud, Iquitos

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los efectos de las charlas educativas en el nivel de conocimientos sobre Salud Bucal en pacientes atendidos en los establecimientos de salud de Iquitos. El tipo de investigación fue Cuantitativa y el diseño de investigación fue No Experimental, del tipo descriptivo comparativo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 68 pacientes distribuidos: 36 H.A.I.; 10 C.S. Túpac; 9 C.S. Moronacocha; 7 C.S. San Antonio; 6 P.S. El porvenir. Se utilizó un cuestionario validado por Pita Fernández (1996). Luego de recibir la charla en los Establecimientos de Salud se obtuvo como resultados: Hospital Apoyo Iquitos, prueba de entrada 38.9% entre bueno y regular, prueba de salida 61.1% Muy bueno, Centro de Salud Túpac Amaru, prueba de entrada 50% regular, prueba de salida 50% bueno, Centro de Salud Moronacocha, prueba de entrada 44.4% regular, prueba de salida 55.6% bueno, Centro de Salud San Antonio, prueba de entrada 57.1% regular, prueba de salida 57.1% bueno, Puesto de Salud El Porvenir, prueba de entrada 50.0% regular, prueba de salida 83.3 muy bueno. Se acepta que las charlas educativas incrementan en el nivel de conocimientos sobre Salud bucal en los pacientes atendidas en los establecimientos de salud, Iquitos, utilizando la prueba t (te= -1.66; tc=-15.36).
