Abstract
significativamente con el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes ( 𝜏𝐵= 0,629;

Analysis of 171 students (100%), (78.9%) have appropriate study habits, (82.5%) have appropriate academic skills, (54.4%) are performing well. The first specific hypothesis was tested: study habits are significantly related to the academic performance of students (τ_B = 0,676; p < 0,05). The second specific hypothesis was tested: academic skills are significantly related to the academic performance of students (τ_B = 0,629; p < 0,05). Therefore the hypothesis is proved General for research: "study habits, academic skills relate significantly to the academic performance of students in the specialty of primary from the education faculty of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, Iquitos - 2014".
