Motivación y rendimiento escolar en estudiantes del primer grado, nivel secundaria, Área Historia, Geografía y Economía, Institución Educativa Inicial Primaria y Secundaria de Menores Mariscal Oscar Rufino Benavides, distrito Iquitos - 2015

Abstract

El objetivo de Investigación fue: Establecer la relación entre motivación y rendimiento escolar en los estudiantes del primer grado, nivel Secundaria, área Historia, Geografía y Economía, de la Institución Educativa Primaria Secundaria e Inicial de Menores “Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides.”, distrito Iquitos – 2015. Fue una investigación No experimental, con diseño correlacional y transversal. La población estuvo conformado por 503 estudiantes del nivel secundario de la Institución Educativa Primaria Secundaria e Inicial de Menores “M.O.R.B.”, distrito Iquitos – 2015. La muestra estuvo representada por 218 estudiantes del nivel secundario, seleccionados mediante el muestreo aleatorio estratificado con afijación proporcional. Los instrumentos fueron: un cuestionario para la motivación y una prueba objetiva para el rendimiento escolar. Los resultados indican que el 57.8% de los estudiantes tienen un nivel de Motivación Alto; así mismo el 39.4% de los estudiantes tienen un rendimiento escolar de Logro Previsto. En el análisis bivariado el 24,3% de los estudiantes tiene una motivación Alta y un rendimiento escolar de Logro Previsto, se hizo uso de la prueba estadística Chi Cuadrada de Pearson, para medir el grado de relación donde X2c=1,349, P-valor =0,717 > α = 0,05. Estos resultados nos permite concluir que: No existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la motivación y el rendimiento escolar en los estudiantes del primer grado, nivel secundaria, en el área de Historia Geografía y Economía, en la Institución Educativa Inicial, Primaria, Secundaria de Menores Marisca Oscar R. Benavides, distrito de Iquitos – 2015.

The objective of the research was to: Establish the relationship between motivation and school performance in first grade students, Secondary level, History, Geography and Economics area of the Primary, Secondary and Early Childhood Institution "Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides.", District of Iquitos - 2015. Was a non-experimental investigation, with correlational and transversal design. The population consisted of 503 students of the secondary level of the Primary and Secondary Education Institution of Minors "MORB", district Iquitos - 2015. The sample was represented by 218 students of the secondary level, selected by stratified random sampling with proportional affixation. The instruments were: a questionnaire for motivation and an objective test for school performance. The results indicate that 57.8% of students have a High Motivation level; likewise, 39.4% of the students have an expected achievement school performance. In the bivariate analysis, 24,3% of the students had a high Motivation and a predicted Achievement of school performance, the Pearson Chi square test was used to measure the degree of relationship where X2c=1,349, P-value = 0.717> α = 0, 05. These results allow us to conclude that: There is no statistically significant relationship between motivation and school performance in the students of the first grade, secondary level, in the area of Geography and Economy History, in the Educational Institution Initial, Primary, Secondary Minors Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides, district of Iquitos - 2015.
