Abstract
El presente estudio descriptivo se realizó en los servicios de Medicina, Cirugía
y Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Regional de Loreto, de la ciudad
de Iquitos, se evaluó a una población de 30 pacientes en un periodo de 04
meses. El objetivo principal fue determinar la relación que existe entre los
factores de riesgo y la flebitis, estableciendo como factores de riesgo:
Factores demográficos (Edad, sexo), Antecedentes patológicos, terapéuticos,
procedimiento de colocación de catéter venoso periférico y la administración
de medicamentos por catéter venoso periférico y flebitis a través de los
signos de flogosis en un periodo de observación de 48 y 72 horas después
de colocado el catéter. Los resultados indican relación estadísticamente
significativa (p<0.05), entre la administración de medicamentos por catéter
venoso periférico con la flebitis tanto a las 48 horas y 72 horas.
This descriptive study was conducted in the service of Medicine, Surgery and Intensive Care Unit of the Regional Hospital of Loreto, Iquitos, was assessed a population of 30 patients over a period of 04 months. The main objective was to determine the relationship between risk factors and phlebitis, establishing risk factors: demographic factors (age, gender), disease history, therapeutic process of peripheral venous catheter placement and drug delivery phlebitis peripheral venous catheter and through the signs of phlogosis in an observation period of 48 to 72 hours after the catheter. The results indicate statistically significant relationship (p <0.05) between the administration of drugs with peripheral venous catheter phlebitis at both 48 hours and 72 hours.
