Repercusiones del cuidar a adultos mayores dependientes, Padomi - Essalud - 2009

Abstract

El presente estudio descriptivo no experimental, se realizó con el objetivo de determinar los factores que repercuten en la salud de los cuidadores informales de personas mayores dependientes de PADOMI ESSALUD, la muestra estuvo constituido por 100 cuidadores informales que fue determinada por conveniencia considerando, los instrumentos de recolección fueron el cuestionario, visitas domiciliarias y cinco tipo de escalas (escala de datos demográficos, escala de sobrecarga del cuidador (Zarit), escala de salud general de Goldberg (GHQ.12), índice de Barthel y el índice de Lawtom). Los resultados mostraron lo siguiente: La edad promedio de los cuidadores informales es 44.14 años de edad, el mayor porcentaje 79% de encuestados son del sexo femenino, 46% con educación secundaria, el 58% son casados y el 58% son amas de casa, de las características individuales que mostraron relación significativa con la salud del cuidador es la edad valorada en la escala de Goldberg (p<0.05).

The results showed the following thing: The age average of the informal caretakers is 44.14 years of age, the biggest percentage 79% of having interviewed is of the feminine sex, 46% with secondary education, 58% is married and 58% is housewives, of the individual characteristics that showed significant relationship with the caretaker's health it is the age valued in the scale of Goldberg (p <0.05).
