Análisis del nivel de conocimiento sobre salud periodontal de los pacientes atendidos en la F.O UNAP 2017-2018

Abstract

Con el objeto de estudiar el nivel de conocimientos sobre salud periodontal en pacientes tratados en la Clínica Odontológica de la F.O.-UNAP para el año 2017-2018, se diseñó un cuestionario de 20 preguntas, 8 de las cuales miden conocimiento en prevención de salud periodontal, 4 en conocimiento en diagnóstico de salud periodontal, y 8 en conocimiento en tratamiento de salud periodontal. Los problemas de investigación planteados fueron: ¿Cuál es el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud periodontal de los pacientes atendidos en la F.O. UNAP 2017-2018, específicamente en las áreas de prevención, diagnóstico y tratamiento? La hipótesis es que el conocimiento en salud periodontal es malo. Se llega a la conclusión de que el nivel de conocimiento tanto para prevención, diagnóstico y tratamiento es regular.

In order to study the level of knowledge about periodontal health in patients treated at the Odontological Clinic of the FO-UNAP for the year 2017-2018, a questionnaire of 20 questions was designed, 8 of which measure knowledge in periodontal health prevention, 4 in knowledge in periodontal health diagnosis, and 8 in knowledge in periodontal health treatment. The research problems raised were: What is the level of knowledge about periodontal health of the patients seen in the F.O. UNAP 2017-2018, specifically in the areas of prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The hypothesis is that knowledge in periodontal health is bad. It is concluded that the level of knowledge for both prevention, diagnosis and treatment is regular.
