Pacientes atendidos en pandemia COVID-19 en el Hospital Regional de Loreto "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" Hospital Covid-19 abril a junio 2020 Rotaciones 1°emergencia-observación módulo 5-2° medicina "B"

Abstract

A finales del año 2019 se reportó el brote de una neumonía atípica letal con diferentes grados de severidad en la ciudad de Wuhan; siendo identificado el agente causal como el Coronavirus 2, que produce del Síndrome Respiratorio Agudo grave o SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), caracterizado por ser altamente infeccioso y virulento. En una situación sin precedentes el 11 de marzo 2020 a tan solo 101 días de su reporte inicial; el mayor ente mundial de la salud (OMS), la calificó como pandemia, ya que en esos momentos los casos confirmados superaban los 118 000 a nivel mundial, dispersados en 114 países del mundo y dejaban 4,291 fallecidos (1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8). En Perú se reporta el 1er caso el día 06 de marzo y posteriormente 17 marzo en nuestra ciudad; tratándose de un varón de 52 años, perteneciente al rubro turístico que estuvo contacto con un gran grupo de extranjeros (9,10,11). Una vez instalado el estado de emergencia a nivel nacional y con las medidas sanitarias ya puestas en marcha en nuestra región; el 19 de abril a casi un mes de registrado el primer caso COVID 19, se hizo un llamado por parte la DIRESA a todo personal de salud voluntario, capaz de ayudar en el Hospital regional de Loreto HRL-COVID ante el eminente colapso, con un promedio de 50 ingresos diarios, 300 pacientes hospitalizados y reportandose alrededor de 10 muertes por día. Es en estas circunstancia en mi condición de bachiller de medicina; sintiéndome capaz de demostrar mis capacicidades ya aprendidas en la Facultad de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana FMH-UNAP, acudo al llamado desesperado de mis maestros y autoridades de salud de la region y en consecuencia nos motivan a la presentación de este Informe de Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional

In Peru the 1st case is reported on March 6 and later on March 17 in our city; in the case of a 52-year-old male, belonging to the tourist industry, who was in contact with a large group of foreigners (9,10,11). Once the state of emergency has been installed at the national level and with the health measures already in place in our region; On April 19, almost a month after the first COVID 19 case was registered, DIRESA made a call to all volunteer health personnel, capable of helping at the Loreto HRL-COVID Regional Hospital in the face of the eminent collapse, with a average of 50 daily admissions, 300 hospitalized patients and reporting around 10 deaths per day. It is in these circumstances in my condition of bachelor of medicine; Feeling capable of demonstrating my skills already learned in the Faculty of Human Medicine of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon FMH-UNAP, I go to the desperate call of my teachers and health authorities in the region and consequently they motivate us to present this Professional Sufficiency Work Report.
