Factores y motivaciones que influyen en la lactancia materna exclusiva del Centro de Atención Primaria - San Juan Bautista 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal, el de relacionar la influencia de los factores de la lactancia materna exclusiva; fisiológicos, cultural, del entorno y motivaciones como son los beneficios en el centro de atención primaria - San Juan Bautista 2019. El método empleado fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental por conveniencia, de diseño descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. Con una muestra de 97 madres que dan de lactar. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario sobre Factores y el Cuestionario de Motivaciones, adaptados del Cuestionario Lactancia (CLAC) y del Cuestionario CAP; una adaptación de la FAO, que fueron debidamente validados. Los resultados obtenidos con respecto a las alternativas más contestadas de las encuestas realizadas a las madres, en motivaciones se observó que el 9% son adecuadas y el 91% no son adecuadas, en los factores fisiológicos se observó que el 4% son adecuadas y el 96% no son adecuadas, en los factores del entorno se observó que el 7% son adecuadas y el 93% no son adecuadas, y en los factores culturales se observó que el 37% son adecuadas y el 63% no son adecuada. Al realizar el análisis de correlación se puede concluir que si existe evidencia estadística para afirmar que hay relación altamente significativa entre la lactancia materna exclusiva y motivación (p< 0.05); también que hay relación muy significativa entre la lactancia materna exclusiva y el factor fisiológico (p< 0.01), el factor de entorno (p< 0.01), y el factor cultural (p< 0.05).

The main objective of this research was to relate the influence of the factors of exclusive breastfeeding; physiological, cultural, environment and motivations such as the benefits in the primary care center - San Juan Bautista 2019. The method used was of quantitative approach, of non-experimental type for convenience, of correlational descriptive design and of transversal cut. With a sample of 97 breastfeeding mothers. The instruments used were the Factor Questionnaire and the Motivation Questionnaire, adapted from the Lactation Questionnaire (LQLC) and the KAP Questionnaire; an adaptation of the FAO, which were duly validated. The results obtained with respect to the most answered alternatives in the surveys of mothers, in motivations it was observed that 9% are adequate and 91% are not adequate, in physiological factors it was observed that 4% are adequate and 96% are not adequate, in environmental factors it was observed that 7% are adequate and 93% are not adequate, and in cultural factors it was observed that 37% are adequate and 63% are not adequate. In conducting the correlation analysis, it can be concluded that there is statistical evidence to affirm that there is a highly significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and motivation (p<0.05); also that there is a highly significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the physiological factor (p<0.01), the environment factor (p<0.01), and the cultural factor (p<0.05).
