Software Zabbix en el monitoreo de la red de área local en la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana 2019

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación ha sido efectuado con la finalidad de determinar la eficiencia de la aplicación del software Zabbix en el monitoreo de la red del área local de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana-2019; la investigación tuvo enfoque sistémico de tipo aplicativo con nivel descriptivo y diseño preexperimental, la población y muestra fueron siete trabajadores especializados de la Oficina Central de Informática de dicha universidad, los instrumentos para recolectar los datos para el desarrollo de la investigación se hicieron mediante encuestas y también utilizando hojas de observación para el pre y post test; los datos recolectados fueron procesados de manera computarizada, empleando el software estadístico SPSS. La investigación llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: el 71,4 % de especialistas del centro de datos de la Oficina Central de Informática están totalmente de acuerdo con la aplicación del software Zabbix a través de identificación de dispositivos y servicios a monitorizar; el monitoreo de la red de área local en la universidad tiene una aceptación total del 85,7% después de la implementación y aplicación del software Zabbix; la eficiencia del monitoreo de la red de área local a través de reportes en la universidad es de 71 %. Se rechazó la hipótesis nula y aceptamos la hipótesis de la investigación: “La aplicación del software Zabbix incrementa la eficiencia significativamente en el monitoreo de la red de área local de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana-2019”.

This research work has been carried out in order to determine the efficiency of the Zabbix software application in the monitoring of the local area network of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon-2019; The research had a systemic approach of an application type with a descriptive level and pre-experimental design, the population and sample were seven specialized workers from the Central Office of Informatics of said university, the instruments to collect the data for the development of the research were made through surveys and also using observation sheets for the pre and post test; the data collected were processed in a computerized way, using the statistical software SPSS. The research reached the following conclusions: 71.4% of specialists from the data center of the Central Office of Informatics fully agree with the application of the Zabbix software through the identification of devices and services to be monitored; the monitoring of the local area network in the university has a total acceptance of 85.7% after the implementation and application of the Zabbix software; the efficiency of monitoring the local area network through reports at the university is 71%. The null hypothesis was rejected and we accepted the research hypothesis: "The application of the Zabbix software significantly increases the efficiency in monitoring the local area network of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon-2019".
