dc.description.abstract | El uso de productos naturales puede ser un método rentable para la prevención de la caries, especialmente en países de bajos ingresos donde la caries dental es muy prevalente y los recursos son limitados. Es por ello que el presente trabajo tiene por objetivo evaluar el efecto sinérgico de extractos de especies vegetales con clorhexidina frente a Streptococcus mutans, Iquitos-Perú 2020. Para ello se diseñó un estudio experimental concluyendo que la concentración mínima inhibitoria de la clorhexidina determinada en 0,13 % se reduce a 0,03 % en combinación con una dosis de 2 mg/mL de extracto de Psidium guajava frente a Streptococcus mutans, de igual manera la concentración mínima inhibitoria de la clorhexidina se reduce a 0,03 % en combinación con una dosis de 8 mg/mL de extracto de Neea spruceana Heimerl. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The use of natural products can be a cost-effective method to prevent caries, especially in developing countries where tooth decay is very prevalent and resources are limited. Therefore, the present work aims to evaluate the synergistic effect of extracts of plant species with chlorhexidine against Streptococcus mutans, Iquitos-Peru 2020. For this, an experimental study was carried out. As a result, it was found out that the minimum inhibiting concentration of chlorhexidine determined at 0,13% is reduced to 0,03% in combination with a dose of 2 mg / mL of Psidium guajava extract against Streptococcus mutans.
