Uso de internet y logros de aprendizaje en el área de ciencia y tecnología, en estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, institución educativa pública Túpac Amaru, Iquitos - 2020

Abstract

El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre el uso de internet y el aprendizaje del área de ciencia y tecnología, en estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, I.E.P. Túpac Amaru, Iquitos - 2020. Es una investigación de tipo confirmatoria con diseño correlacional y transversal, que incluyó una población de 281 estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, matriculados en el año escolar 2020, con una muestra de 162 estudiantes, seleccionados mediante el método de muestreo estratificado por afijación proporcional. Los resultados de esta investigación evidencian que, el nivel de uso de internet en los estudiantes de la muestra de estudio, se ubica en un nivel medio (50,0%), nivel bajo (43,8%), y nivel alto (6,2%). Respecto a la variable logro de aprendizaje en el área de Ciencia y Tecnología, se determinó que los estudiantes obtuvieron un nivel de aprendizaje en Proceso (41,4%), en Inicio (38,8%), y Logro Previsto (19,8%); no hubo estudiante que alcanzara Logro Destacado. Para comprobar la validez de las hipótesis formuladas se utilizó la prueba estadística no paramétrica de libre distribución para variables ordinales, B de Kendall, (p < 0,05) con valor de significancia bilateral de p = 0,000; permitió arribar a las siguientes conclusiones: Que, existe relación significativa entre el uso de internet y el aprendizaje del área de ciencia y tecnología, en estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, I.E.P. Túpac Amaru, Iquitos – 2020, demostrándose la validez de la hipótesis general de la investigación. Asimismo, se logró se verificó que, existe relación significativa entre el uso de internet y el logro de aprendizaje de la competencia: Indaga mediante métodos científicos para construir conocimientos del área de ciencia y tecnología, demostrándose la validez de la primera hipótesis específica de la investigación formulada. También se comprobó que, existe relación significativa entre el uso de internet y el logro de aprendizaje de la competencia: Explica el mundo físico basándose en conocimientos sobre seres vivos, materia y energía, biodiversidad, tierra y universo del área de ciencia y tecnología, demostrándose validez de la segunda hipótesis específica de la investigación formulada. Finalmente, se comprobó que, existe relación significativa entre el uso de internet y el logro de aprendizaje de la competencia: Diseña y construye soluciones tecnológicas para resolver problemas de su entorno del área de ciencia y tecnología, demostrándose la validez de la tercera hipótesis específica de la investigación formulada.

The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the use of the Internet and learning in the area of science and technology, in students of the first grade of secondary school, I.E.P. Túpac Amaru, Iquitos - 2020. It is a confirmatory research with a correlational and cross-sectional design, which included a population of 281 first-grade high school students, enrolled in the 2020 school year, with a sample of 162 students, selected using the stratified sampling method by proportional allocation. The results of this research show that the level of internet use in the students of the study sample is located at a medium level (50.0%), low level (43.8%), and high level (6.2%). Regarding the learning achievement variable in the area of Science and Technology, it was determined that students obtained a level of learning in Process (41.4%), in Beginning (38.8%), and Expected Achievement (19.8%); no student achieved Outstanding Achievement. To check the validity of the formulated hypotheses, the nonparametric statistical test of free distribution was used for ordinal variables, Kendall's B, (p <0.05) with a bilateral significance value of p = 0.000; allowed to reach the following conclusions: That, there is a significant relationship between the use of the internet and the learning of the area of science and technology, in students of the first grade of secondary school, I.E.P. Túpac Amaru, Iquitos - 2020, demonstrating the validity of the general hypothesis of the research. Likewise, it was verified that there is a significant relationship between the use of the internet and the achievement of learning the competence: It investigates through scientific methods to build knowledge of the area of science and technology, demonstrating the validity of the first specific hypothesis of the investigation formulated. It was also found that there is a significant relationship between the use of the Internet and the achievement of learning the competence: It explains the physical world based on knowledge about living beings, matter and energy, biodiversity, earth and universe from the area of science and technology, demonstrating validity of the second specific hypothesis of the formulated research. Finally, it was found that there is a significant relationship between the use of the internet and the achievement of learning competence: Design and build technological solutions to solve problems in the environment of the science and technology area, demonstrating the validity of the third specific hypothesis of the research formulated.
