Experiencia profesional adquirida en la empresa Transportes Júpiter SRL

Abstract

The work of professional proficiency presented represents the experience acquired in the company TRANSPORTES JÚPITER S.R.L, in the Department of Safety, Health and Environment. This area's function is to guide management and headquarters in the formulation of procedures and rules, stimulating preventive practices, providing technical knowledge as well as guiding the meetings of the company's safety committee. Likewise, the company, when transporting oil and its derivatives to the different clients it has in the Amazon basin, encounters a series of emergencies that can arise at the docks and along the route of the different vessels, such as: hydrocarbon spills, fire of the boat, collision of boats, man overboard, strandings, river blockades and piracy, natural phenomena that can be heavy rains, electrical storms, strong winds, fog and palisades. Information is also provided on the respective responses for the aforementioned emergencies, as well as the organization of the brigade, indicating their responsibilities as crew members. The graduate in Chemical Engineering finds in this specialty, an enrichment of his knowledge, acquiring new possibilities of professional training but at the same time he has the ability to know and be updated in the current Peruvian regulations on safety and health at work. Due to the above, he presented this report to the students, graduates and teachers of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, in order to provide a useful tool on safety, health and environmental management.

El trabajo de suficiencia profesional presentado representa los ocho (8) años en la empresa TRANSPORTES JÚPITER S.R.L, en el Departamento de Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente. Esta área tiene como función guiar a las gerencias y jefaturas en la formulación de procedimientos y reglas, estimulando las prácticas preventivas, brindando el conocimiento técnico así como guiar las reuniones del comité de seguridad con que cuenta la empresa. Asimismo la empresa al transportar el petróleo y sus derivados a los diferentes clientes con que cuenta en la hoya amazónica, encuentra una serie de emergencias que pueden suscitarse en los muelles y a lo largo de su recorrido que tienen las diferentes embarcaciones como son: derrames de hidrocarburos, incendio de la embarcación, colisión de embarcaciones, hombre al agua, varaduras, bloqueos fluviales y piratería, fenómenos naturales que pueden ser lluvias fuertes, tormentas eléctricas, vientos fuertes, neblinas y palizadas. Se brinda asimismo la información sobre las respectivas respuestas para los casos de emergencias mencionados, así como también la organización de brigada, indicando sus responsabilidades de los miembros de la tripulación. El egresado en Ingeniería Química encuentra en esta especialidad, un enriquecimiento de su conocimiento adquiriendo nuevas posibilidades de formación profesional pero al mismo tiempo tiene la capacidad de conocer y estar actualizado en las normativas peruanas vigente sobre seguridad y salud en el trabajo. Por lo expuesto anteriormente presentó este informe a los estudiantes, egresados y docentes de la facultad de Ingeniería Química, con el fin brindar una herramienta útil acerca de la gestión en seguridad, salud y medio ambiente.
