Comparativo de ocho morfotipos de Bixa orellana L. y sus efectos sobre características agronómicas y de rendimiento en Zungarococha - San Juan.2020

Abstract

The research was carried out in the teaching and research workshop in medicinal plants of the Faculty of Agronomy of the UNAP. The objective of the research was to generate information on the comparative morphotypes and their effects on agronomic and yield characteristics in accessions of Bixa orellana L. "achiote", evaluating the length of petals, number of stamens, length of fruits, number of seeds, weight of seeds and % of bixin. The completely random design was used, with 8 treatments and 4 repetitions, distributed at a rate of 5 plants/morphotype and the sampling unit was constituted by 4 plants/morphotype, making a total of 32 plants. The results show: For the six quantitative variables (agronomic and yield) it was found that there are quite significant and differentiated effects of the morphotypes on these six variables expressed in statistically different means. For the variable Bixin percentage (%), it is demonstrated that there are quite significant and differentiated effects of the morphotypes on this variable expressed in statistically different porcetages. To carry out work on the effect of achiote morphotypes on more quantitative variables considering a greater number of repetitions per trial in order to obtain a better estimate of the behavior of the variables.

La investigación se llevó a cabo en el taller de enseñanza e investigación en plantas medicinales de la Facultad de agronomía de la UNAP. La investigación tuvo como objetivo generar información sobre comparativo de morfotipos y sus efectos sobre características agronómicas y de rendimiento en accesiones de Bixa orellana L. “achiote”, evaluándose la longitud de pétalos, número de estambres, longitud de frutos, número de semillas, peso de semillas y % de bixina. Se utilizó el Diseño Completamente al Azar, con 8 tratamientos y 4 repeticiones, distribuidos a razón de 5 plantas/morfotipo y la unidad de muestreo estuvo constituida por 4 plantas/morfotipo, haciendo un total de 32 plantas. Los resultados muestran: Para las seis variables cuantitativas (agronómicas y de rendimiento) se encontró que existe efectos bastantes significativos y de manera diferenciada de los morfotipos sobre estas seis variables expresados en medias estadísticamente distintas. Para la variable porcentaje de bixina (%), se demuestra que existe efectos bastante significativo y de manera diferenciada de los morfotipos sobre esta variable expresados en porcetajes estadísticamente distintas. Realizar trabajos sobre el efecto de los morfotipos de achiote en más variables cuantitativas considerando un mayor número de repeticiones por ensayo a fin de obtener una mejor estimación del comportamiento de las variables.
