Nivel de conocimiento de actitudes y cultura ambiental de los estudiantes del Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Salud, Loreto, 2025

Abstract

The study was conducted with third, fourth, and fifth-year secondary education students from Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Salud in Loreto, with a sample of 155 students of both sexes, whose general objective was to evaluate the level of knowledge about attitudes and environmental culture. According to the results, the level of knowledge is average, since 50.3% say they often know about the environmental practices carried out in their surroundings, 34.2% report that they get involved and participate in activities that promote environmental conservation, and 60.6% state that it is always important to conserve the environment with environmental responsibility. However, it is reflected that 38.1% respond that they rarely adopt proactive attitudes to engage in caring for the planet, while 38.7% say that they recycle paper, plastic, and glass in their homes. Regarding the use of transportation that helps conserve the environment, there is a low level of engagement in this, as they rarely use such means and mostly rely on private vehicles. Young people, in 35.5% of cases, rarely talk daily in their environment about recycling and other factors that contribute to environmental care.El estudio se desarrolló con estudiantes de tercero, cuarto y quinto de educación secundaria del Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Salud en Loreto, con una muestra de 155 alumnos de ambos sexos, cuyo objetivo general fue de, evaluar el nivel de conocimiento sobre actitudes y cultura ambiental. Según resultados, el nivel de conocimiento es medio, ya que el 50,3% dicen que muchas veces conocer las prácticas ambientales que se desarrollan en su entorno, el 34,2% reporta que se involucra y participa en actividades que promueven conservación ambiental, 60,6% manifiestan que siempre es importante conservar el ambiente, con responsabilidad ambiental. Sin embargo, se refleja que, el 38,1% responde que pocas veces adoptan actitudes proactivas para involucrarse en el cuidado del planeta, pero, 38,7% dice que reciclan papel, plástico y vidrio en sus viviendas. Sobre el uso de transporte que ayude a conservar el ambiente, existe un índice de reacción a ello, puesto que pocas veces usan estos medios, y mayormente lo hacen en medios privados. Los jóvenes en un 35,5% pocas veces hablan en su entorno diariamente, sobre reciclaje y otros factores que contribuyan al cuidado del medio ambiente.
