This study aimed to determine the relationship between sociocultural factors and attitudes toward contraceptive methods among secondary school students at the MORB Iquitos Educational Institution. A quantitative, non-experimental, and correlational study was conducted. The survey was used as the data collection technique, employing two instruments: a questionnaire on sociocultural factors in secondary school students (validity 81.25% and reliability 89.8%) and a Likert scale (validity 93.12% and reliability 84.9%). The results indicated that the average age was 16.7 ± 0.5 years, 50.2% were male, 50.2% came from complete families, 60.4% were from low socioeconomic backgrounds, 49.8% professed the Catholic faith, and 67.4% of the adolescents demonstrated a low level of knowledge about contraception. When establishing associations between the variables under study, it was found that there is no statistically significant relationship between age, sex, family structure, economic status, or religion and attitudes toward contraceptive methods. It was concluded, however, that there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes toward contraceptive methods (p=0.023) among secondary school students at the MORB Iquitos Educational Institution in 2025.
