Actitud de conservación ambiental en estudiantes del quinto grado de secundaria en dos instituciones educativas públicas del ámbito urbano y rural del distrito de Iquitos 2021

Abstract

The study was aimed at establishing the difference in the attitude of environmental conservation in students of the fifth grade of secondary school of two public educational institutions in the urban area and two in the rural area, in the district of Iquitos, 2021. It is a basic study, descriptive, comparative and transectional design, with a population of 700 fifth grade students and a sample of 248 subjects, selected in a proportional and random stratified manner, a questionnaire was used to evaluate the study variables. The results on the attitude of environmental conservation in students from the urban area of the district of Iquitos, showed that 59.0% presented a Favorable Attitude; the remaining 41,0% expressed an Unfavorable Attitude. Regarding the attitude of environmental conservation in students from the rural area of the district of Iquitos, it was determined that 78,6% reported a Favorable Attitude; the remaining 21,4% expressed an Unfavorable Attitude. The Z test for comparison of means, at a level of 0.05, allows us to conclude that there are significant differences in the attitude of conservation of the environment (dimensions: cognitive, affective and behavioral) between the means obtained by the student subjects of the sample of two public educational institutions in the urban area and two in the rural area, in the district of Iquitos, 2021, thus approving the formulated research hypotheses.El estudio estuvo dirigido a establecer la diferencia en la actitud de conservación ambiental en alumnos del quinto grado de secundaria de dos instituciones educativas públicas de la zona urbana y dos de la zona rural, del distrito de Iquitos, 2021. Es un estudio básico, de diseño descriptivo, comparativo y transeccional, con una población de 700 alumnos del quinto grado de secundaria y una muestra de 248 sujetos, seleccionados de manera estratificada proporcional y aleatoria, se utilizó un cuestionario para evaluar las variables de estudio. Los resultados sobre la actitud de conservación ambiental en estudiantes del ámbito urbano del distrito de Iquitos, evidenciaron que el 59,0% presentó una Actitud Favorable; el 41,0% restante, manifestó una Actitud Desfavorable. Respecto a la actitud de conservación ambiental en estudiantes del ámbito rural del distrito de Iquitos, se determinó que el 78,6% reportaron una Actitud Favorable; el 21,4% restante, manifestó una Actitud Desfavorable. La prueba Z de comparación de medias, a un nivel de 0,05, permite concluir que hay diferencias significativas en la actitud de conservación del ambiente (dimensiones: cognitiva, afectiva y conductual) entre las medias obtenidas por los alumnos sujetos de la muestra de dos instituciones educativas públicas de la zona urbana y dos de la zona rural, del distrito de Iquitos, 2021, con lo que se aprueba las hipótesis de investigación formuladas.
