Aplicativo datawarehouse para la toma de decisiones en la unidad de recaudación tributaria en la Municipalidad Distrital de Punchana 2018

Abstract

decisiones en la Unidad de Recaudación Tributaria – URT de la Municipalidad Distrital de Punchana – MDP en el año 2018, mediante la implementación de un aplicativo Datawarehouse como una forma de Inteligencia de Negocios – BI, el mismo que ayuda a convertir los datos en información útil y mostrar al personal de la URT de una manera amigable y comprensiva. El aplicativo fue desarrollado con la metodología de Ralph Kimball, por ser la más adecuada. La problemática se planteó con la siguiente interrogante: ¿De qué manera la implementación de un aplicativo Datawarehouse afecta la toma de decisiones en la Unidad Recaudación Tributaria – URT de la Municipalidad Distrital de Punchana 2018? cuyo objetivo fue “Agilizar la toma de decisiones en la Unidad de Recaudación Tributaria – URT de la Municipalidad Distrital de Punchana 2018”, mediante la implementación de un aplicativo Datawarehouse. La investigación fue del tipo pre experimental con enfoque cuantitativo, y el diseño pretest – postest con un solo grupo. Los resultados obtenidos fueron: una reducción notable de 6.52 minutos (77,25%) en el tiempo de la generación de reportes de recaudación tributaria, una reducción notable de 7,96 minutos (80,16%) en el tiempo de la elaboración de indicadores de recaudación tributaria y con respecto al nivel de satisfacción en el proceso de toma de decisiones de los funcionarios de la URT, se determinó un incremento de 0.78 puntos (26%) con el uso del aplicativo. En conclusión la implementación de un Datawarehouse agilizó notablemente el proceso de toma de decisiones en la Unidad de Recaudación Tributaria – URT de la Municipalidad Distrital de Punchana en el año 2018.

This research study has managed to streamline the decision making process in the Tax Collection Unit - URT of the District Municipality of Punchana - MDP in 2018, by implementing a Datawarehouse application as a form of Business Intelligence - BI, the same that helps convert the data into useful information and show the staff of the URT in a friendly and comprehensive manner. The application was developed with the Ralph Kimball methodology, as it is the most appropriate. The problem was posed with the following question: How does the implementation of a Datawarehouse application affect decision making in the Tax Collection Unit - URT of the District Municipality of Punchana 2018? whose objective was to expedite decision making in the Tax Collection Unit - URT of the District Municipality of Punchana 2018, through the implementation of a Datawarehouse application. The research was of the pre experimental type with a quantitative approach, and the pretest - posttest design with a single group. The results obtained were: a remarkable reduction of 6.52 minutes (77.25%) in the time of the generation of tax collection reports, a notable reduction of 7.96 minutes (80.16%) in the time of preparation of indicators of tax collection and with respect to the level of satisfaction in the decision-making process of the employees of the URT, an increase of 0.78 points (26%) was determined with the use of the application. In conclusion, the implementation of a Datawarehouse significantly streamlined the decision-making process in the Tax Collection Unit - URT of the District Municipality of Punchana in 2018.
