Abstract
This study described students' assessment of the performance of Communication teachers at CRFA Santa Teresa I Zone, Yavarí district, in 2023. A field-based, cross sectional, non-experimental design was used. All 142 secondary students formed both the population and the census sample. Data were collected through a twenty item Likert questionnaire covering preparation for learning, teaching, community linked school management, and professional development and teacher identity. Overall, 139 students (97.9%) rated teacher performance as high and 3 (2.1%) as medium; no low-level ratings were recorded. At the dimensional level, high ratings reached 61.3% for preparation, 65.5% for teaching, 69.0% for school management, and 63.4% for professional development and identity. Despite the favorable overall assessment, the medium-level responses indicate that lesson planning and continuing professional development still require institutional attention.
