Inundaciones en viviendas por lluvias y su relación con infecciones respiratorias agudas en menores de cinco años, Puerto Masusa 2025

Abstract

The research project presented aims to determine whether flooding in homes caused by rainfall increases cases of acute respiratory infections in children under five years of age, using information from IPRESS I-4 Bellavista Nanay and Civil Defense in Puerto Masusa during 2025. The methodology is based on a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, correlational, and retrospective design, applied to a sample of 100 households through non probability convenience sampling. Data collection instruments include a questionnaire on flooding and an acute respiratory infection registration form, administered through surveys and document review. Data processing is conducted using the statistical software SPSS version 27.0, and the analysis is carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically the Chi Square test (X²), to assess the relationship between the variables and test the proposed hypothesis.El proyecto de investigación que se presenta, tiene el objetivo de determinar si las inundaciones en las viviendas por las lluvias aumentan los casos de enfermedades respiratorias agudas en niños menores de cinco años, usando información de la IPRESS I-4 Bellavista Nanay y Defensa Civil, en el Puerto Masusa durante el 2025. La metodología se basa en un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental, correlacional y retrospectivo, aplicado a una muestra de 100 viviendas mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para obtener la información se utilizan un cuestionario referente a las inundaciones y una ficha de registro de infección respiratoria aguda, administrados mediante encuesta y revisión documental. El procesamiento de los datos se realiza con el software estadístico SPSS versión 27.0, y el análisis se lleva a cabo mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial, empleando la prueba Chi Cuadrado (X²) para evaluar la relación entre las variables y contrastar la hipótesis planteada.
