Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la relación enseñanza de la
tecnología, Información y Comunicación con el rendimiento académico en
estudiantes de la asignatura de Estadística Descriptiva, Facultad de Ciencias
de la Educación y Humanidades durante el primer semestre del año 2018.
La muestra está constituida por 249 alumnos matriculados en el semestre
2018-1 en la asignatura de Estadística Descriptiva en la FCEH. El estudio
está enmarcado en un diseño correlacional causal, las variables de estudio
son Tecnología de Información y Comunicación y rendimiento académico de
los estudiantes. Los datos se procesaron utilizando el software SPSS 23.
Los resultados obtenidos son: El 30.5% de estudiantes afirman que los
docentes utilizan los programas Excel y SPSS en el desarrollo de clases de
la asignatura de Estadística Descriptiva en la Facultad de Educación y
Humanidades, La mayoría de estudiantes tiene promedio 11 puntos en
Estadística Descriptiva, La enseñanza utilizando la Tecnología de
Información y Comunicación no influye en el rendimiento académico de los
estudiantes de la asignatura de Estadística Descriptiva en la Facultad de
Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades, y El rendimiento académico en la
asignatura de Estadística Descriptiva no está relacionado con el aprender a
utilizar correctamente las herramientas de SPSS y Excel en los estudiantes
de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades.
The objective of the research was to analyse the teaching of technology, information, and communication with the academic performance in students of the subject of Descriptiva statistics, Sciences Faculty of education and Humanities for the first half of the year 2018 sample consists of 249 students enrolled in the 2018-1 semester in the course of descriptive statistics in the FCEH. The study is framed in a design. Correlational, causal study variables are information and communication technology and academic performance of students. Data were processed using the software SPSS 23. The results obtained are: 30.5% of students say that teachers use Excel and SPSS programs in the development of classes in the subject of descriptive statistics at the Faculty of education and Humanities, most students have average 11 points in descriptive statistics, education using information and communication technology does not affect the academic performance of students in the course of descriptive statistics at the Faculty of Education Sciences and the humanities, and Academic performance in the course of descriptive statistics is not related to the learn to correctly use the tools of SPSS and Excel in the students of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences.
