Supervivencia, crecimiento y calidad de planta de Simarouba amara Aubl. “Marupa” en diferentes sustratos orgánicos en vivero. Puerto Almendra, Loreto, Perú – 2024

Abstract

The objective was to determine the survival, growth, and quality of Simarouba amara Aubl. seedlings grown in different organic substrates in a nursery. Puerto Almendra, Loreto, Peru – 2024. The study was carried out at the Puerto Almendras nursery of the Faculty of Forestry Sciences – UNAP; four organic substrates and a control were used. The height, diameter, survival, and quality of Simarouba amara Aublet “marupa” seedlings were evaluated. The results indicate that the greatest increase in height was recorded in the substrate 40% chicken manure + 40% natural soil + 20% sand, with 10,8 centimeters. The diameter increase was 0,6 millimeters in the control, where seedlings were planted in 100% natural soil. Seedling survival in the trial was also better in the control, with 53% live plants. Finally, the quality of the seedlings at the end of the trial was generally poor.

El objetivo fue determinar la supervivencia, crecimiento y calidad de planta en Simarouba amara Aubl. en diferentes sustratos orgánicos en vivero. Puerto Almendra, Loreto, Perú – 2024. El estudio se ejecutó en el vivero de Puerto Almendras de la Facultad de Ciencias Forestales – UNAP; se utilizaron 4 sustratos orgánicos y testigo; se evaluó la altura, diámetro, supervivencia y calidad de las plántulas de Simarouba amara Aublet “marupa”. Los resultados indican que en el sustrato 40% de gallinaza + 40% tierra natural + 20% arena se registró el mayor incremento en altura con 10,8 centímetros; en el diámetro fue en el testigo donde las plántulas fueron sembradas en 100% de tierra natural con 0,6 milímetros de incremento; en la supervivencia de las plántulas en el ensayo también fue mejor en el testigo con 53% de plantas vivas; finalmente, la calidad de las plántulas al final del ensayo fue malo a nivel general.
