Prematuridad y desarrollo infantil temprano en preescolares en la Institución Prestadora de Salud Iquitos 2024

Abstract

The objective was to determine the association between prematurity and early childhood development in preschool children who attending at IPRESS I – 4 San Juan, Iquitos 2024. A quantitative method was used, with non – experimental descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational design. The sample consisted of 30 preschool children born with a history of prematurity who residing in the jurisdiction of IPRESS I – 4 San Juan, in the district of San Juan 2024. The techniques used were document review, interviews and observation. The instruments used were the prematurity record form and the Child Development Assessment (EDI) for groups 11, 12 and 13. The SPSS version 26.0 statistical package in Spanish was used to process the information. Result: there is a highly significant association p<0,001 (p=0,05), between prematurity and the early childhood development. In conclusion, the greater the degree of prematurity, the greater the probability of presenting alterations in early childhood development.El objetivo fue determinar la asociación entre prematuridad y el desarrollo infantil temprano en niños preescolares que acuden a la IPRESS I – 4 San Juan, Iquitos 2024. Se empleó en método el cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental, descriptivo, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 niños preescolares nacidos con antecedentes de prematuridad y residen en la jurisdicción la IPRESS I – 4 San Juan del distrito de San Juan 2024. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la revisión documentaria, la entrevista y la observación, los instrumentos fueron la ficha de registro de prematuridad y la Evaluación del desarrollo Infantil (EDI) de los grupos 11, 12 y 13. Para el procesamiento de la información se utilizó paquete estadístico SPSS versión 26.0 en español. Resultados: existe asociación altamente significativa p<0,001 (p=0,05) entre la prematuridad y el desarrollo infantil temprano. Concluyendo, a mayor grado de prematuridad, mayor probabilidad a presentar alteraciones en el desarrollo infantil temprano.
