El comportamiento de la economía del Perú y la emigración internacional de peruanos periodo 2000-2022

Abstract

International emigration is registered as an extreme measure in the face of disastrous events that make the population decide to leave their country of residence, which may be due to war, catastrophes, installation of dictatorial governments, among others. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the emigration of compatriots has adverse effects on the national economy, studied in the time period between 2000 and 2022. This master thesis is classified as quantitative - correlational and designed as non-experimental. The results found show that the Peruvian economy has not had a negative impact due to the departure of Peruvians abroad, a statement supported by the result of the Correlation Coefficient that reached r = 0.825216553; since this value rather implies a very good positive correlation, and other causes of the result must be studied. Peruvians who migrated abroad did so mainly for tourism, with 84.91% of travelers doing so, which amounted to 2,579,105.00 people. The age and gender group of the emigrants shows that there is a strong concentration in travelers who are between 30 and 39 years old and who are female, consisting of 360,502.00 women. In absolute terms, the research shows that 51.78% of those who went to other countries are women. The prevalence of single marital status shows prevalence with 64.59%.

La emigración internacional se registra como una medida extrema ante hechos funestos que hace que la población decida abandonar su país de residencia, pudiendo deberse guerra, catástrofes, instalación de gobiernos dictatoriales, entre otros. Este estudio persigue como propósito evaluar si la emigración de connacionales tiene efectos adversos en la economía nacional, estudiado en el espacio temporal comprendido entre el 2000 y el 2022. Esta tesis magistral está catalogada como cuantitativa – correlacional y diseñada como no experimental. Los resultados encontrados ponen a la luz que la economía peruana no ha tenido impacto negativo ante la salida de peruanos al exterior, afirmación sustentada en el resultado del Coeficiente de Correlación que llegó a r = 0.825216553; ya que este valor implica más bien una correlación positiva muy buena, debiéndose estudiar otras causas del resultado. Los peruanos que migraron al exterior lo hicieron por turismo principalmente, habiendo incurrido en tal motivo el 84.91% de los viajeros, que llegaron a 2,579,105.00 personas. El grupo de edad y género de los emigrantes demuestra que existe una fuerte concentración en los viajeros que poseen entre 30 y 39 años y que son de sexo femenino, constituido por 360,502.00 mujeres. En términos absolutos, la investigación pone en evidencia que el 51.78% de los que salieron a otros países son mujeres. La prevalencia del estado civil soltero muestra prevalencia con el 64.59%.
