Materiales educativos y rendimiento escolar en niños de cinco años de la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 162 Los Honguitos, Iquitos 2025

Abstract

The present research analyzed the relationship between the use of educational materials and academic performance in 5-year-old children from the Initial Educational Institution No. 162 “Los Honguitos,” Iquitos. Using a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design, a sample of 147 students was evaluated. The descriptive results revealed that 92.5% rated the use of materials as “good,” and 98.6% showed “satisfactory” academic performance. The results of the Spearman correlation analysis showed that there is no statistically significant relationship between the use of educational materials and academic performance among the evaluated students (Rho = 0.033, p = 0.688 > 0.05). The obtained coefficient reflects a very weak negative correlation, indicating that both variables behave independently in the studied sample. Therefore, it is concluded that the level of use of educational materials is not significantly associated with the academic performance of the evaluated students.La presente investigación analizó la relación entre el uso de materiales educativos y el rendimiento escolar en niños de 5 años de la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 162 “Los Honguitos”, Iquitos, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, se evaluó una muestra de 147 estudiantes, Los resultados descriptivos revelaron que el 92,5% califica como "bueno" el uso de materiales y el 98,6% muestra un rendimiento "satisfactorio", Los resultados del análisis de correlación de Spearman evidencian que no existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el uso de los material educativo y el rendimiento escolar en los estudiantes evaluados (Rho=0,033,p=0,688 > 0,05), el coeficiente obtenido refleja una correlación negativa muy débil, lo que indica que ambas variables se comportan de manera independiente en la muestra estudiada. Por lo tanto, se concluye que el nivel de uso de materiales educativos no se asocia significativamente con el rendimiento escolar de los estudiantes evaluados.
