Situación comunitaria de los efectos de derrames de hidrocarburos en el bienestar social en San Pedro, Loreto, 2025

Abstract

In the study, conducted this year in order to analyze the population's perception of the oil spill in San Pedro, district of Urarinas, regarding social and community well-being, the supply and consumption of local biodiversity foods, and terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. The residents are always informed that oil spills are caused by accidents during transportation, and in 83% of cases their health is always affected; therefore, they have to go to the health post for care (75%). These spills reduce biodiversity in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, food supply, and their economic income, affecting their quality of life and altering their social and physical community well-being. They always contribute to environmental conservation through the daily activities they carry out in their community for the benefit of their family and community.

En el estudio, desarrollado en el presente año a fin de analizar la percepción de la población sobre el derrame de hidrocarburos en San Pedro, distrito de Urarinas, sobre bienestar social y comunitario, abastecimiento y consumo de alimentos de la biodiversidad local, de ecosistemas terrestres y acuáticos. Los pobladores siempre están informados que los derrames de hidrocarburos son producidos por causas accidentales por el transporte de los mismos, en un 83% su salud siempre se ve afectada, por ello tienen que acudir a la postal de salud para su atención (75%). Estos derrames disminuyen biodiversidad en los ecosistemas terrestres y acuáticos, el abastecimiento de alimentos, disminución de sus ingresos económicos, afectando su calidad de vida, alterando su bienestar social comunitario y físico. Ellos siempre contribuyen en la conservación ambiental, a través de las actividades cotidianas que desarrollan en su comunidad en beneficio familiar y comunitario.
