Nivel de competencia digital y la búsqueda de información en línea con estudiantes de secundaria en la Institución Educativa N° 60087 Lucille Gagne Pellerin, Santa Clotilde 2025

Abstract

This research is based on the need to identify the relationship between the level of digital competence and students' knowledge of how to conduct online searches, as both are variables that are important in today's education within post-pandemic educational environments, thus it was proposed to work with students in 5th grade of secondary school of the Educational Institution No. 60087 Lucille Gagne Pellerin, Santa Clotilde, where after a careful selection a sample of 118 students was formed, in this way two questionnaires could be applied to collect the necessary information and for this the survey technique was applied, where the main results were that for both variables the students indicated that they have mostly an average level, both in knowledge of the management of digital tools, as well as how to search and select information on the Internet. After applying the appropriate statistical test, it was concluded that the hypothesis proposed for the study was: “There is a relationship between the level of digital competence in the search for online information with high school students in the Educational Institution No. 60087 Lucille Gagne Pellerin, Santa Clotilde 2025”, with a confidence of 95%.

La presente investigación está basada en la necesidad de identificar la relación que existe entre el nivel de competencia digital y el conocimiento que tienen los estudiantes para realizar búsquedas en línea, ya que ambas son variables que son de importancia en la educación actual dentro de los entornos educativos postpandemia, por lo tanto se propuso trabajar con estudiantes de 5to grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa N° 60087 Lucille Gagne Pellerin, Santa Clotilde, donde luego de una selección cuidadosa se formó una muestra de 118 estudiantes, de esta manera se pudieron aplicar dos cuestionarios para poder recabar la información necesaria y para ello se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta, donde se tuvo como resultado principal que para ambas variables los estudiantes indicaron tener en su mayoría un nivel medio, tanto en conocimiento del manejo de herramientas digitales, como de la forma de buscar y seleccionar información en internet. En consecuencia, luego de aplicar la prueba estadística adecuado que se cumple con la hipótesis planteada para el estudio la cual fue: “Existe relación del nivel de competencia digital en la búsqueda de información en línea con estudiantes de secundaria en la Institución Educativa N° 60087 Lucille Gagne Pellerin, Santa Clotilde 2025”, con una confianza del 95%.
