Abstract

The effects of different levels of quicklime application on the cultivation of Chinese Creole turnip were investigated. The results were analyzed using the BCA statistical design and Test Tukey's where they indicated that the application of lime significantly influenced the results of the investigated variables. The higher level of lime (2264 Kg/ha) promoted better lateral plant development, greater number of leaves, greater total weight and longer root length, although root diameter did not show significant differences between treatments, they all surpassed the witness. The treatment with the highest level of lime (4,264 Kg/ha obtained the highest yield of root weight, reaching 450 g per plant and 36 t/ha, with a profitability of S/41,543.2

Se investigó los efectos de diferentes niveles de aplicación de cal viva en el cultivo de nabo variedad chino criollo. Se trabajo utilizando 16 microparcelas distribuidos en 4 Bloques, Los resultados fueron analizados utilizando el Diseño estadístico de BCA y la prueba de Tukey, donde indicaron que la aplicación de cal influyó significativamente en los resultados de las variables investigada. El nivel más alto de cal (2264 Kg/ha) promovió un mejor desarrollo lateral de las plantas, mayor número de hojas, mayor peso total y mayor longitud de la raíz, aunque el diámetro de la raíz no mostró diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos, todos superaron al testigo. El tratamiento con el nivel más alto de cal (4,264 Kg/ha) obtuvo el mayor rendimiento de peso de raíces, alcanzando 450 g por planta y 36 t/ha, con una rentabilidad de S/41,543.2
