Abstract
The objective of this thesis was to evaluate the resistance to compression of artisanal adobe with the incorporation of two levels of sawdust, one with 10% and the other with 20%, in order to diagnose its advantages or disadvantages in the elaboration of these. It was hypothesized that the level of sawdust influences the compressive strength in Kg / cm2 of the adobe. The level of wood sawdust influences the dry weight in kg of the adobe. The land was extracted from the Puerto Almendras community of the Faculty of Agronomy of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon. The work was carried out in the soil laboratory. A total of 15 compacted adobes were made with the various percentages of addition of wood sawdust. The results show that without the application of sawdust, 10.70 kg / cm2, 10.13 kg / cm2,8,02 Kg / cm2,7.05 Kg / cm2, 8.23 Kg / cm2 were obtained with an average compressive strength of 8.83 kg / cm2, and with the addition of 10% sawdust, 10.93 kg / cm2, 12.46 kg / cm2, 12.13 Kg / cm2, 13.65 Kg / cm2, 11.64 Kg / cm2 were obtained with an average compressive strength of 12.6 Kg / cm2 and with the addition of 20% sawdust, 11.32 kg / cm2, 13.99 kg / cm2, 13.68 Kg / cm2, 12.58 Kg / cm2, 13.22 Kg / cm2 were obtained with an average compressive strength of 12.96 Kg / cm2.
