Abstract
Actividad Antioxidante in vitro de Inga edulis Mart. “guaba” y Maytenus
macrocarpa (Ruiz & Pav.)
equipo espectrómetro UV/vis a 517 nm.
Los resultados obtenidos para hojas de Inga edulis Mart IC50=824,95 mg;
Briq.
Plant species have chemical value that generates interest from their study through scientific research, the objective of this work was to evaluate the Antioxidant Activity in vitro of Inga edulis Mart. "guaba" and Maytenus macrocarpa (Ruiz & Pav.) Briq "chuchuhuasi" by DPPH-free radical capture method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picril-hydrantyl). Plant species collected for convenience: leaves, ripe fruit and pulverized bark, macerated in methanol for seven days and then filtered. Solutions of the samples to be evaluated at concentrations of 0.01 were prepared; 0,05; 0,10; 0.25 and 0.50 mg/mL and for DPPH at a concentration of 0.1 mMol; the reading was performed in UV/vis spectrometer equipment at 517 nm. The results obtained for inga leaves edulis Mart IC50=824,95 mg; while immature fruit IC50=992040,21 mg; Maytenus macrocarpa bark (Ruiz & Pav.) Briq had an IC50=6613074,35 mg. With regard to the ability to react with the stable free radical DPPH, the IC50 obtained was lower on the inga edulis Mart sheet; and it is concluded that the leaves exhibit a greater antioxidant capacity compared to the fruit of Inga edulis Mart and bark of Maytenus macrocarpa (Ruiz & Pav.) Briq.
