Abstract
The research was carried out to determine the size and quality of the camu camu seedling, in a nursery, suitable for the final field, having been developed in the Experimental Field "El Dorado" - INIA, located at km 25 of the Iquitos-Nauta highway. The research was of the experimental type. The completely randomized design (DCA) was used, with six treatments and five repetitions. The experimental unit consisted of 15 plants and the sub-sampling unit consisted of 3 plants. The mean comparison test was Tuckey 0.05 in the treatments in order to obtain a better interpretation of the results. The factors in studies are made up of six different sizes of seedlings from the nursery to be evaluated according to their height. The result of the evaluations carried out shows that the treatments under study contributed to estimate the quality of the Camu camu seedling produced under nursery conditions. Treatments 70 cm. and 60 cm. plant height, had the best results in terms of morphological and physiological characteristics. The best lignification index was obtained by the 60 cm treatment. seedling height, with a value of 42.60%, followed by treatment 70 cm. seedling height, both surpassing the other treatments with slight variations. For plant quality index, treatment 70 cm. seedling height, registered the best index versus the other treatments, showing better morphological and physiological characteristics, favorable to continue developing in the definitive field.
