Relación entre la recaudación tributaria y el comercio ambulatorio en Loreto periodo 2019-2023

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between tax collection and street vending in Loreto during the 2019-2023 period. Street vending is a significant economic activity in the region, and its relationship with local tax revenue has key implications for fiscal policy and economic development. The research employs a quantitative approach, analyzing tax revenue data and records of street vendors at the local level. Statistical methods, such as the Spearman correlation coefficient, were used to measure the association between tax collection and the number of registered street vendors, aiming to determine if the formalization of this type of commerce contributes to increased tax revenue. The results show a significant relationship between street vending and tax collection, suggesting that formalizing these workers could strengthen local tax revenues. This relationship has the potential to inform policies that support the formalization of street vending, promoting economic benefits for both workers and public administration. In conclusion, this study provides evidence on how fiscal management in Loreto can benefit from effective regulation adapted to the context of street vendors.

Este estudio examina la relación entre la recaudación tributaria y el comercio ambulatorio en Loreto durante el período 2019-2023. El comercio ambulatorio es una actividad económica significativa en la región, y su relación con la recaudación de impuestos locales presenta implicancias clave para la política fiscal y el desarrollo económico. La investigación emplea un enfoque cuantitativo, analizando datos de ingresos tributarios y registros de comerciantes ambulantes a nivel local. Se emplearon métodos estadísticos, como el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman, para medir la asociación entre la recaudación tributaria y el número de comerciantes ambulantes registrados, buscando determinar si la formalización de este tipo de comercio contribuye a una mayor captación de ingresos tributarios. Los resultados muestran una relación significativa entre el comercio ambulatorio y la recaudación tributaria, sugiriendo que la formalización de estos trabajadores podría fortalecer los ingresos fiscales locales. Esta relación tiene el potencial de orientar la creación de políticas que favorezcan la formalización del comercio ambulatorio, promoviendo beneficios económicos tanto para los trabajadores como para la administración pública. En conclusión, este estudio aporta evidencias sobre cómo la gestión fiscal en Loreto puede beneficiarse de una regulación efectiva y adaptable al contexto de los comerciantes ambulantes.
