Estudio comparativo entre los valores cefalometricosdentarios del análisis de ricketts y los valores cefalométricos dentarios en mujeres de 17 a 25 años de la región Loreto

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar si existía diferencia entre los valores cefalométricos del campo dentario según Ricketts con los valores del mismo campo encontrados en mujeres de Loreto-Perú. El método empleado fue el Cuantitativo y el diseño metodológico fue No Experimental, Descriptivo Comparativo y transversal. La muestra fue de 40 mujeres de la Región Loreto y el instrumento fue la Ficha de Recolección de datos para el Campo Dentario de Ricketts. Para comparar las diferencias entre Ricketts con nuestra muestra se utilizó la Prueba t de Student. Se encontró que: 1. Existe diferencia estadística significativa entre el valor de Ricketts y el promedio de valores en mujeres de la Región Loreto para la Relación molar. 2. Existe diferencia estadística significativa entre el valor de Ricketts y el promedio de valores en mujeres de la Región Loreto para la Relación canina. 3. Existe diferencia estadística significativa entre el valor de Ricketts y el promedio de valores en mujeres de la Región Loreto para la Sobremordida Horizontal. 4. No existe diferencia estadística significativa entre el valor de Ricketts y el promedio de valores en mujeres de la Región Loreto para la Sobremordida Vertical. 5. No existe diferencia estadística significativa entre el valor de Ricketts y el promedio de valores en mujeres de la Región Loreto para la Extrusión del Incisivo Inferior. 6. No existe diferencia estadística significativa entre el valor de Ricketts y el promedio de valores en mujeres de la Región Loreto para el Ángulo Interincisal.The present study was proposed to determinate if there was a difference between the cephalometric dental field values according to Ricketts with the same field values found in Loreto Peru women. The method used was the quantitative and the methodological design was non-experimental, descriptive, comparative and cross. The sample was of 40 women from the Loreto Region and the instrument was the Data Collection Sheet for the dental field Ricketts. The sample was used to compare the differences between the standards Ricketts values with the values found, in our sample Student's t test was used. It was found that: 1. There is statistically significant difference between the normal value of Ricketts and average values cephalometric women in Loreto Region for the molar relationship. 2. There is statistically significant difference between the normal value of Ricketts and average values cephalometric women in Loreto Region for the canina relationship. 3. There is statistically significant difference between the normal value of Ricketts and average values cephalometric women in Loreto Region for the overbite Horizontal. 4. There is no statistically significant difference between the normal value of Ricketts and average values cephalometric women in Loreto Region for the overbite Vertical. 5. There is no statistically significant difference between the normal value of Ricketts and average values cephalometric women in Loreto Region for the Extrusion of the lower incisor tooth. 6. There is no statistically significant difference between the normal value of Ricketts and average values cephalometric women in Loreto Region for the interincisal angle.
