Abstract
La investigación se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar los efectos del programa de
extensión, impulsado por el Gobierno Regional de Loreto en beneficiarios de
Myrciaria dubia “camu camu” en la cuenca del Ucayali, región Loreto.
El área de estudio se concentró en cuatro comunidades de la región Loreto,
ubicados en la cuenca del rio Ucayali. Por el tema de estudio, esta
investigación fue exploratoria, descriptiva y cualitativa. La población objeto de
estudio son 46 productores de camu camu que pertenecen a este programa
del Gobierno Regional de Loreto. Se concluye que, el tiempo de residencia y
el desarrollar varias estrategias de vida en la cual cuenta el camu camu como
cultivo permitieron el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de las personas
dedicadas a esta actividad. Así mismo se adoptaron técnicas de control de
plagas mediante métodos químicos y mecánicos, combinados con la
sapiencia del agricultor, así como las densidades de siembra dentro de las
parcelas lo que les permitió desarrollar cosechas sostenibles.
The research was carried out with the objective of evaluating the effects of the extension program, promoted by the Regional Government of Loreto, on beneficiaries of Myrciaria dubia “camu camu” in the Ucayali basin, Loreto region. The study area was concentrated in four communities in the Loreto region, located in the Ucayali river basin. Due to the subject of study, this research was exploratory, descriptive and qualitative. The population under study are 46 camu camu producers who belong to this program of the Regional Government of Loreto. It is concluded that the residence time and the development of various life strategies in which camu camu is a crop allowed the improvement of the quality of life of the people dedicated to this activity. Likewise, pest control techniques were adopted through chemical and mechanical methods, combined with the farmer's wisdom, as well as the planting densities within the plots, which allowed them to develop sustainable crops.
