Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between nursing care in health promotion and lifestyle in adults from the Quistococha Village Center, Iquitos 2025. The studywas quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 200 adults. The techniques used were the survey and home visit; and instruments a Questionnaire on Nursing Care in Health Promotion (validity 93.75%; reliability 85.82%), and an Adult Lifestyle Assessment Scale, Likert type (severity88.75%; reliability 87.80%). Regarding nursing care, 97.0% of adults perceived inadequate care and 3.0% adequate care. Regarding lifestyle, 62.5% of adults stated that they had an unhealthy lifestyle and 37.5% healthily. The application of Fisher's exact test yielded a value of p = 0.029 < 0.05; which allows us to affirm the existence of a statistically significant relationship between nursing care oriented to health promotion and the lifestyle of adults in the Quistococha Village Center; This shows that inadequate nursing care is associated with an unhealthy lifestyle. Therefore, it is necessary to reinforce nursing interventions aimed at health promotion, health education and permanent accompaniment, with the purpose of encouraging adult residents to adopt healthy lifestyles.
